Winx Party app is a quick way to make a buck or six

The Winx Party app is a free dress-up game from Rainbow, but developed by Malezeta. According to the note for parents, the app is aimed for children between the ages of 3 and 7. You can dress all six of the Winx Club girls and you can four default outfits (or twelve pieces) where you can switch the tops, bottoms and footwear.

After you create your outfit using pieces of attire from the show, you choose a background where you want your ‘party’ to happen. Most of the backgrounds are actually backgrounds from season four, so can you choose between Love & Pet, the Winx girls’ loft and the Frutti Music Bar among other things.

After you decide on the location, obviously, you have to invite guests! You can choose to invite all the Winx girls (not including Roxy), Sky as well as a few nameless miscellaneous background characters. It seems that the app is preparing to have an interactive Facebook function, but it has not been developed yet. Apparently, if you become a fan of the app on the Winx Club Facebook page, you’re supposed to get codes and other freebies, but that did not happen to me. All I got was the previews for the HalloWinx dolls (also known as Winx Dark Style). After you’ve chosen the guess, you can resize and arrange all the characters into a scene and then take a picture that is saved to your gallery.

In terms of outfits, it has all of the outfits from season four, except for the date night outfits. Each outfit pack costs 0.99$. The accessories pack with includes jewellery and bags costs 1.99$ and the individual believix outfits cost 0.99$ (meaning you would have the believix outfit six times to get all the transformations). Luckily, there is a special pack which includes all of the outfits and accessories that costs 5.99$ so that users don’t have to spend 13$. I am not sure how I feel about needing to spend six bucks to get my full enjoyment out of this, but it is better than spending double that. At the very least, they should have given us all the outfits for the default outfits because Aisha and Tecna’s are not there.

This app is a quick and easy way to pass the time as well as make your own personal Winx Club wallpapers. Now , if only they could fix their comic app because it keeps blacking out and the coding is screwed up….

  1. I think the Winx girls look better without their clothes.

  3. I wonder if those 2 new guys in that photo will be featured in season 5... (Imagine one of them as Roxy's possible boyfriend.)

  4. I recently got an iPhone of my own (finally caught up with this generation, I guess ;)) and this was about the first app I downloaded. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed, since the outfit sets were split up into a shirt and skirt instead of a dress, and that just looks funny to me. It was also saddening to see that Tecna and Layla's outfits were left out of the collections..

Being a usual fan of dress-up games, I think they could have added more, but I do love the graphics! Hopefully they expand things a bit though. ^^

As for fun Winx games for the Apple products, I HIGHLY recommend Puzzle Pets. It's got some very entertaining games on it. :3

  7. I'm a huge Winx fan club, I mean I used to be even bigger fan, but I'm still a great fan, but I would never spend six bucks on something like that - I mean if you think about how many Winx Club Dress up games are out there for free - so not worth it. I love your title and I'm glad some ppl manage to stay critical.

  8. I wouldn't mind downloading this app for the backgrounds and the character illustrations (Flora looks absolutely gorgeous, I have to say), but spending that much money for a game that is meaningless is definitely a waste, even for a hardcore fan such as myself. Unless it was an online game, that's a different story.
