The site has been kinda dead so hopefully this will break the silence...
This is semi-old news by now but Nickelodeon has shifted the time slot of Winx Club from it's 3pm weekdays to 7am weekdays (times given are ET/PT). The new time slot is first in line after the network Nick@Nite concludes, meaning it's REALLY early, even before NickJr starts. Many networks tend to push their less-popular shows off to less-popular times. Does this have any meaning? Is Winx Club not a very popular show? Is it maybe that we've already seen a third season in English? While it's no call for alarm yet, it can still be reasonably debated as to the purpose of this push-back.

The reason ur site is dead is cuz u haven't been posting as much stuff like the other winx fan sites.
ReplyDeleteThat's what she meant, stupid.
DeleteI think it's because the third season has already aired, so not as many people are watching right now.
ReplyDeleteWho cares the nick version is rubbish, 4kids is the original version watch it on pop
ReplyDeleteyea but Nick is the new owner and going to give new episodes
DeleteIf I had a dime for every time someone claimed that 4Kids was the original version.... *smh*
DeleteWhile 4Kids was a good American translation, it was seriously edited to fit for a "young female children" audience. This such as romance and more intimacy between the characters was replaced by a slightly different storyline.
DeleteSeason 3 is really not that exclusive.
ReplyDeleteSo that's probably the main reason why.
Cool post...
ReplyDelete@charmix believix enchantix: You're free to hate the Nick version, but you should know the 4Kids version is NOT the original. It's just another English dub -- one of three, actually. Winx Club is from Italy, therefore the Italian version is the original.
ReplyDeleteIt's just reruns, so it doesn't really matter all that much. :)
ReplyDeletei think it not popular cause season 4 needs to come and none of the winx clubs has been on t.v. since the last espisode of season 3
ReplyDeleteJust wait for season five, it'll probably become more popular :P
ReplyDeleteIt's not dead its just that you have not been on for a long time and WINX IS SO NOT AN UNPOPULAR SHOW :( I love love love it!!! A good blog is a blog that has lots of post on it!!!
ReplyDeleteThe other thing to remember is there may not have been a large audience for season three because:
ReplyDelete1) The show just recently moved to Nickelodeon
2) The older fans have watched season three a million times and may not have bothered to see it again
If Nick and Rainbow are smart, they won't read too much into the ratings for season three. Season four will be more decisive.
Is it just me, or does it seem like they are trying to rush the events of season 3?
ReplyDeleteIt seems a but fast-paced...
I think its been moved to 7AM now because its just a repeat when the 4th season comes it will probaly be moved later in the day. I wonder if they will show the movies too
ReplyDeleteI just say that i don't really like the nick version of winx club. I mean, they took away a lot of my favorite episodes from seasons 1 & 2. I just feel that the 4kids one was much better.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the 4Kids version and it is annoying that they cut out a lot but they have no parallel in dialogues!
ReplyDeleteWhereas when I saw the Nick version, I couldn't find even a single funny dialogue. But I did find pathetic voices and voice acting.
ReplyDeleteThe RAI version is OK, but still way better than the Nick version.
