I wonder: now that we know that the next Winx Club season will take place in an underwater world, will this provide the setting for Aisha to bring back Nabu because water ("waves") is her element and it seems that the next season will take place in an aquatic place?

I hope so! It was cruel for the writes to let them get engaged and then kill Nabu.

Kica, would you like to explain to me how the movie connects to the series or how Nabu came back then? What I'm asking about is how are they going to re-establish Nabu's character into the series.

ReplyDeleteThat was actually my original theory about Season 5 after seeing the traier. I think he'll be back. No idea how, but I'm sure they'll think of something. He played a vital role for the Specialists in the last season, saving Roxy from the black circle and killing Dumah. It would really be a shame for them to kill him off like this.
ReplyDeleteI will be disappointed if he comes back. One of the charms of Winx Club, at least for me, is watching the girls grow up and deal with life, and learn that magic can't solve every problem. This inevitably means that as they grow, things will get darker. If they bring Nabu back, it will manage to undermine the main reason I watch the show, for this learning and growing with the girls.
ReplyDeleteI don't think so, Aisha turned dark for a few episodes last season because of Nabu's death taking it so hard she couldn't be good for awhile,so don't you think after that she deserves to have him back

ReplyDeleteHow ever mean it sounds, They were adding alot of people at a surprising rate, to me, and I figured they made a logical turn and eleiminated a character to add one so as not to make the group invincible from square one and not allow villans to pose a real threat.

In other words theyre adding to many people.
I agree but it was not as if Nebula, Diana and Aurora were intended to be regularly reoccurring characters, were they?
ReplyDeleteFor me it feels like the 2nd movie was based before season 4. As there was no mention of Roxy at the beginning of the movie and the trix seemed to be beaten for good in season 4. They weren't mentioned at all, just seen in the picture at the beginning.
ReplyDeleteSo it would make sense that Nabu be in the movie.
As far as there being too many characters if its true that season 5 be set in and underwater world it will probably revert back to the original 5 girls plus Aisha and the 5 specialists as Roxy will be studying at alfea, she still needs to develop her Charmix and Enchantrix.
However I am a romantic and would like Nabu to come back for the 5th season

ReplyDeleteI hope Nabu AND Roxy come back. I'll miss you, Roxy. :( But if Nabu doesn't, I agree with Tabby. It'll seem lifelike and I don't mind that. I'd rather have Nabu come back.

Well jest to clear it up it has been said officialy that the second movie takes place after season 4. now how ling after season 4 remains a mystery. alo
ReplyDeleteconserning the trix who eversaid they were defeted. in the first movie (which takes place almost directly after season 3) the trix apeared at the end with the ancestrals. so if the second movie is after season 4 and the only mention of them in season 4 is a paintig then who's to say they weren't just waiting for a good time to come back. and if you look closly you can see them fighting bloom in the official season 5 trailer which means they haveto be back. and lol sorry for the rant.

ReplyDeleteIn the 2nd movie of the winx ( winx club 3d adventure) nabu is still alive and the movie was meant to come out in the middle of season 4 a year after the 1st movie (in the show anyway) and it did just in certain countries ( got to dub it first)
ReplyDeleteJust because the girls grow because of Nabu's death doesn't mean he can't come back to life, they will grow either way. For example a building explodes and the people around the building believe their loved ones died they can become depressed or they will be more wary of whats to come either way they've grown, then imagine if their loved ones that they have believed to have died lived instead they still change because of those events. So I disagree with Tabby. The writers only reason for killing Nabu was for Drama not change, so I believe it is very likely that they will allow him to come back to life.... by the way the 2nd movie is out in English and is on youtube you just have to look.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the 2nd movie takes place after the first movie and before Season 4. As far as the question, "How do they then have earned their Believix?" goes, I personally think that the 2nd movie keeps pretending that it's not Believix it's just a fairy form. Although the song does feature the word, "Believix", the Winx themselves never shout out, "Winx Believix!" or mention anything about Believix.
ReplyDeleteAnother theory is that it IS after Season 4 and the confusion of Nabu's presence will be removed in Season 5. They'll probably say something like, "Hey, Aisha, it was a good idea to use the enchanted lily to heal Nabu!"
Or another theory is that the 2nd movie takes place AFTER Season 5.
