Nickelodeon's or Rainbow's Winx Club

Lately, when I scan the news for Winx Club, I read Nickelodeon's Winx Club rather than Rainbow's Winx Club or Nickelodeon and Rainbow's Winx Club. I was under the impression that Winx Club was still going to be owned by Rainbow. Is this a sign? I would like to think that I'm overthinking it. It's very possible that the writers are just not doing their research properly but it is disturbing.

Don't forget: Battle for Magix airs on the 18th of September!

  1. Maybe it's Nickelodeon and Rainbow's Winx Club...that's because it's plainly stated that the two companies are working together now along with Iginio Straffi...but I think this statement is too basic.
    Can someone explain some more?

  2. Sometimes, I see articles with absolutely no mention of Rainbow.

  3. There have been a lot of post and such that mainly state it as Nickelodeon's Winx.

Overall there have been a lot of confused fans, some believe that Winx is owned by 4Kids, some think Nick owns it. All depends on who you are asking.

  4. First off, welcome back Kikurukina Bal Des'cagel.
Second, the only mention of Rainbow was prior to the Nickelodeon Winx Premiere where Nick would explain the background of the series. Now, I've only noticed Rainbow is mentioned during the opening of the series.

Nick HAS been known to... fully embrace their new assets in the past.

  6. Well from what ive heard, Rainbow has made season 5 but didnt allow release in some countries so nick is teaming up with someone to co-produce seasons 5 aND 6 so from that im guessing that nick smushed together episodes to hurry up so they could air season 5 and 6. cause with 4 seasons think about how long it would take to air 4 seasons?

  7. Nick is a big company. I agree with whoever above said that Nick is known to fully embrace their new shows. I think it could very well happen that NIck starts taking all the credit for Winx Club. Thats why I would have never teamed up with Nick... I feared this from day 1. it is not JUSt about who makes the series, but in my opinion Iginio Straffi deserves all the credit he can take. Not Nick.

  8. I think it's still Rainbow's Winx Club, but they're just saying Nickelodeon's Winx Club because Nick is currently running it.

Though, I can't say I'd be surprised if Nick were trying to take all the credit (agree with Red Fountain Senior). They don't exactly have the best reputation anymore.

  9. I'm starting to wonder if there are editors for the article-writers. I mean, look at all the typos they have had, and now lack of proper credit. I dunno, they just seem so... unprofessional lately.

  10. Nearly the same like when it was 4KIDS right? Rainbow is almost non-existent in the USA fan's eyes. I just hope that Rainbow will speak up this time if Nick go too far and take all the credit for itself

  11. I think it is just a result of lack of research. Correct me if I'm wrong though: don't Nick and Rainbow have joint ownership of it now? Maybe Rainbow just owns a bigger portion? IDK :P

  12. I think Nick is trying to take the credit. That's just me, but they just seem like they'd do that.
