The Nickelodeon website lists Aisha as "The Fairy of Waves," changing her power ever so slightly. It's not a big change, not even as big as Stella's change from "Fairy of Sun and Moon" to "Fairy of the Shining Sun." But it's there.
Other news in that particular couple shows that we have a voice for Nabu... Will Blagrove. He won't be with us for a while, but it's still some exciting news!

ReplyDeleteThough Aisha/Layla has so far only showed her morphix powers. I wish we could see her control other types of liquids. Only once I think in season 3 she was able to control water.

ReplyDeleteHmm...Waves shouldn't hurt anybody too badly, though the name change was a little...odd. Still, I remember her always surfing in series, or something similar to that, so meh.

ReplyDeleteStella's power change if you think about it, it isnt that big. Because her mom (I think its Luna) was only mentioned a couple of times in the show while her dad played a bigger part. So, it would make sense for Stell to just be the fairy of the Shining sun.

ReplyDeletePeople say its a minor change but me and my sister watched the premiere Nick episode and vowed never to watch the Nick version again. I probably will tune in now and then to see if my hatred lessens but I'm sticking to the Rai version.
ReplyDeleteThey changed the animation almost COMPLETELY, I hate the new transformation song, and I miss Techna's british accent. Not to mention Bloom sounds gross. I know this is about Layla but Layla(sorry, Aisha) won't be in the series for another 2 seasons. Right?
Meh, I'll see if I the Nick version grows on me or not.
I hate the changes!!!! Fairy of the Shining Sun?! Why add 'shining'?! It's so useless and ridiculous! Did anybody see a Sun that's not shining?! And Fairy of Waves?! What Rubbish! She could then have powers over radio waves as well! That does NOT describe her powers! And anybody who saw Layla the first time in the Nick version must have been left completely lost over her powers!
