So no more "the sun and the moon" for Stella, Nick's calling her "Fairy of the Shining Sun". And speaking of Stella, did I mention that I love her staff?
Am I the only one who can't stand this? Stella sounds a little like Mitzy from the 4kids/FoXBoX version. And did anyone else notice that in the 3rd clip, the names Stella picks for the group are completely different from the 4kids/FoxBoX version? I don't like Musa's voice either or Flora's. But I do like Techna's and Mike and Vanessa's. I sort of like Bloom's. ~Kairi~
I am so psyched for Monday's premiere! I love Musa's voice, it fits her great, with the attitude. I didn't hear much of Tecna's, but I like it, almost as much as her 4Kids voice. I wonder if Aisha will have a light voice like RAI or deeper like 4Kids.
@ Kairi: The 4Kids version isn't the original one, you know. So it's not a good comparison. In the Italian version (original), she said "Stella 5," "Wonder Girls", and...something else I didn't hear. =) In the Cinelume/RAI English dub, it was "Stella 5", "Super 5," or "Airy Fairies."
I love everything about these except Stella's voice, which I'm sure I'll get used to. I'm noticing that they're keeping most of the Rai dialog (thank god they removed that "pulling my leg" comment by Bloom.), which is awesome!
I really love the new Nick's version! It's because of the bumpy music, the bright graphics, and the new voices that I'm starting to get used to, makes the show even more lively!
I can't stand the fact that they kept the "What does Winx mean?" rational the same. I thought that that moment would have been a great moment to explain it. (For reference, they did explain what it means in the comic.)
I don't really like change much, so this thing with all the new voices is really rubbing me the wrong way, and what are they going to do about the ogre part where he rips bloom's jeans to sniff her out? Not she's wearing the season 2 outfit with a skirt. I guess I just miss the old graphics :(
Stella's voice honestly made me wince the first time I heard it. It's not a bad voice, and I'm not dissing Amy Gross, it's just a bit high-pitched for my taste. The animation style is killing me for some reason. It looks...amazing, but it's so different than what I'm used to from Winx. I guess it'll take me some time to adjust to both the new animation and the voices. Not half bad, one day to go, we'll see what happens.
They sound so stiff, in the other versions they sound like great actors. Not so much on the Nivk version. Anyways, 1 day left! Can't wait to see the Red Fountain boys ! I think that they changed the outfits because they were unappropriate for the young age group.
-Animation is awesome but it doesn't mean I don't like the old style
-Bloom's voice is better than I thought
-Stella's and Musa's voice got more annoying through more clips so I hope the actresses go a little less overboard
-I wish they kept a little more of the original dialogue
-I think the characters act more natural (how any real person would act if any of this did happen)
-Bloom and Flora look prettier somehow but the rest look... worse than the original (Musa I feel should have darker eyes but other than that I don't know what's wrong with them)
-I'm glad they kept the dark blue brown-eyed Kiko and not that creepy season 4 light blue yellow-eyed Kiko that literally DID freak me out a bit
As for Layla, (should get used to calling her Aisha) I think Keke Palmer would make a great voice for Layla if she were to toughen her voice a bit to sound more sporty-ish.
And as for Roxy, she should have a more childish and innocent voice and if they're using Nick and Disney stars, I think that either Miranda Cosgrove (if she kept her voice high and cheerful) or even Bridget Mendler (I think just her normal voice would fit Roxy).
@ Sasha if they were inappropriate they would have just taken it off since 4kids dubbed it and the whole showing belly button is just the style in Italy.
hey!! winx is today!! i love everything so far! the voices, the animation, the songs. i think that we shouldn't be complaining. i mean haven't we all been waiting for this? for winx club to appear on tv! i think that we should all be thankful that this magical show is coming to nick. i know that everyone's saying that they don't like stella's voice, but i think it's fine. everytime Stella says, "Let's go!" it reminds me of the old energetic, happy Stella. Honestly, i think that Amy Gross is going to do a good job.

I don't know what happend to Roxy13 but at first write it by Rai version, after that write it by Nick version. Why they don't write it by 4Kids version at first? I really don't like, I mean I hate Nick. At first I thought they'll do better than 4Kids but not. They're worse! And poor Knut, they draw him like a MONSTER!!! Nick do not learn any lessons about the fail of 4Kids. Whatever they do, I'll watch the Rai English!
The winx premiere on Nick was just hard to watch. I was trying to keep myself from comparing Nick's version to the Rai or 4Kids versions. I also noticed they left out a few plot lines, most notably the time when Brandon and Prince Sky switched identities/names, and when Bloom first transformed. Oh! Also, the winx called their original transformation "charmix" but they didn't have their charmix accessories. The main thing that annoyed me to no end, was the voices. I don't really mind that to me the voices don't match their character ( well I mind but I'm trying to get passed it). My main problem was the actually voice acting quality. It sounded so half-hearted, and it made the dialogue sound corny. I felt like I was watching sailor moon almost. Just the way they said their attacks sounded like a 5 year old in the body of a 16 year old.
(Also, a few of the errors that were originally found in the animation were resolved with the full viewing, just saying.)
I agree with HeavenlyQueen. It was bad to watch and in my mind rethinking how they are just taking out pieces of the episode plot. They just put together episodes 1,2,7 and 10 all together in an hour and cut a lot of stuff that adds to the story line. Plus the intro song was horrible even if they were using the 4th season song they made it even worse and their transformation song sucks too! Yay, negativre comments! I´m not afraid to spill my opinion! First: I haven´t seen the full special. Estonian girl here. I don´t like Stella´s scepter or her voice. I like Bloom´s voice. I don´t like Tecna´s. I no longer hate the new animation, I´m starting ton like it, but personally, sometimes less is more. i´m thinking about colours. I mean did you see Stella´s eyeshadow?? I understand why they changed Stella´s powers - good idea. I still don´t fully understand why they re-draw it. WHY ON EARTH they caled original transformation Charmix. Oh I liked the transformation itself actually.
