  3. I don wanna see it (Im so sorry) cuz I might just lol out or feel as if theyve insulted them badly or something like that cuz I saw one video of them n that was on the Winx club day (I think). N I felt so bad cuz they humiliated the girls badly.
PS. They have to get thinner girls n longer wings :P

  4. yeah i agree, lol.they are making the winx look rubbish and it wouldnt hurt for them to learn some english would it?

  5. Really, you're asking an Italian production to speak English just so you can understand? How about this: go learn Italian.

  6. I personally think there making them a little sleazy, I have tried to ignore their short shorts and high boots but this is an all ages show.

  7. @Selenz: "get thinner girls?"

Oh yes, that's an excellent idea.

Rainbow's already undergone criticism for the Winx in cartoon form "being too thin and creating a bad influence for young girls." The last thing they'd do is try and find thinner girls to portray the Winx. Honestly, you probably couldn't find thinner women...unless you start looking for anorexic actresses/dancers. Jus' saying.

And the wings are small because if they were bigger they'd most likely interfere with the dance moves...

  8. @holhez21- I wrote that just so that they would resemble the Winx girls a bit more. I mean they ARE afterall famous for being so thin n I have seen a lotta ppl who are, not as thin as the Winx girls but atleast, theyre thinner than those girls. N anyways dancers are required I mean isnt that what theyre doing?? dancing?

  10. Selenz, you're a hypocrite. You want thinner woman to portray the Winx when they are unrealistically thin anyways? Basically, you're saying that people should try achieve an unrealistic goal. You have wonderful idea of beauty.

  11. Listen one thing Hera ur not the ONLY one here who knows words K? N Im not gonna spoil this wonderful site by using 'words' just because someone is too narrow-minded n just doesnt inderstand simple english!!

  12. That's great. You can use a dictionary.

I repeat. You want even thinner people to portray unrealistically thin characters. Those girls in the videos are perfectly healthy. Why do you want them to be thinner again? Right, so they can look like their fictional counterparts. Hypocrite, much?

  13. @Selenz: Personally, the dancers/actresses portray the Winx just fine, I think. Besides, dancers are athletes. Athletes have muscle, they have build. There's no reason to have super-thin women portray the Winx. Those women are all perfectly fit and healthy, which I think is a better message to send to kids than "be unreaslistically skinny!" There is little chance that a human on Earth could be (porportionally) as skinny as the Winx are without be anorexic.

Also, the Winx are famous for being SKINNY? Really? Where ever did you get that idea? How many people have honestly told you that? I'm curious, because I doubt that's what the Winx are famous for at all.

I'm not trying to start an argument here or anything, but to say they need thinner dancers just to properly portray fictional - and completely unrealistic - characters is one of the most ludicrous ideas I've ever heard.

Anyways, I've said what I have to say. We're all free to our own opinions.

In regards to the videos overall, Rainbow is free to market their property as they wish. This is not the first time they've portrayed the Winx with actresses/dancers, and from what I've seen and heard of them in the past - Ice Shows, Musicals, appearances at film premeires and at Aqua Fun - it seems to have been successful every time. What works, works.

....Also, I quite enjoy that they brought in a horse to be Peg. :)

  14. The only way these girls could get thinner is if they replaced their ribs! In my opinion, these girls are perfect, maybe even a bit too thin!
I actually have a friend who's as skinny as the Winx (exactly, I'm not kidding), and has the hips too, but that's because she was born prematurely. It's not a way people's bodies should be naturally.
But really, these are just opinions. No one should be jumped on because of their opinion.

  15. Why is everyone always focused on the negative? There were the Russian costumes being a little inaccurate and now this whole discussion about the girls needing to be thinner? Selenz, do you purposely start drama for nothing?

  16. I think that the girls look just fine, too, Phoebe. :)
I LOVE how they have a horse. It's adorable! (Sorry, I just love animals a lot!) I also like Bloom's dress, especially how it actually covers the back of the horse! :D I wish I could of been there. :)

  17. Come on! Thinner? The Winx are not famous for being skinny. These girls are thin. They are dancers, so it's probably muscle. These girls portray the Winx perfectly. Nobody's that thin unless they had an issue with their body early on. So that's my opinion. Keep these girls the way they are!

  18. Those are some small yet thick believix wings... The winx must feel insulted..
