Believix inconsistencies in the comics

We all know that Tecna's believix includes a pair of shorts. We can see it here in the video:

So how is it that she suddenly got a skirt in her believix in the comics?

Stella is missing her ponytails but surprisingly, they got her shirt right although it is not consistent with the simplified animated version but the official art.

Strange isn't it?

  1. The comics have nothing to do with the show (besides being about winx). They tell different stories, give more/other information and so on. Sometimes the transformations also look a bit different :D

  2. I feel like I'm repeating myself every time I say this but the comics only follow up to season one officially.

What I'm noting are artistic inconsistencies, not story inconsistencies. Learn to differentiate.

  3. Actually, they don't follow season one that much. There are differences: Bloom's parents at Alfea, no princess outfit for Stella etc. I think Marie realizes the difference between stories and art. She does say: "Sometimes the transformations look a bit different."

  5. Artists can only go so far with artistic license in my opinion. Was a pair of shorts so hard to keep up with?

  6. Maybe they thought Tecna would look better in a skirt.

  7. someone sure likes to flame at people ^^
As Hannah already stated: I said: Sometimes the transformations look a bit different

Banjogate said why, point made, nothing to be added ^^

If you're going to pick on people for that, I suggest you never look at the comics again =)

  8. Again, artistic inconsistencies and a good work ethic. I also suppose that the artists are not blind despite it being a rotating staff. How daft can you be? They have reference pictures. By most standards, the artist who made the picture above should be ashamed and should be subjected to quality control. I should know, I'm used to the process. It's as bad a putting Musa in a red shirt and then having her come in in a green shirt in the next panel. Do I need to explain anymore the sloppy work?

  9. Sloopy work? Excuse me? It's called artist freedom ... I don't see why it should all be perfectly the same as in the show .... I love it when they deviate a little bit in drawing style, it's fun and ... why are we talking about this again? Useless discussion ^^

It's on the COVER? I wouldn't care if it was in the middle, but the cover!

Cover is a weird word when you look at it.
