Fan Claims False

Cathrine E. shares:
"Hey there! About the 'The Magic is Back' I Say Fake. Tcna's Hair is Way Shorter. Aisha (Layla) Is acting More Prinsses Like. No Roxy. Mirium (Don't know how to Spell Bloom's Mom Name.) Has Shorter, Less Curly Hair. And Where did the Cute Little White-Blonde Parts of Stella's Hair go that ALWAYS goes in front of her ears. And English, What's with that!? Everything W
inx Club Comes out in Italy First. So, I May be wrong, But I'm just looking at the Things they left out."

I don't support this claim, and, obviously, Kikurukina doesn't, either. She responds:

"Okay, I'm sorry but what the [heck]? How is examining one's hair style substantial proof in saying that the movie poster is a fake? Cartoon animation is never drawn uniform.

HAIR IS HAIR. Hair is always in a constant shift, even more so for the Winx girls when they're in a special themed outfit such as the ball gowns. It's like saying that the poster is a fake because Musa's pigtails/ponytails aren't there. Just because Stella doesn't have her side bangs isn't viable proof to anything.

Of course the poster is going to be in English because it was shown at the freaking INTERNATIONAL Licensing Show in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. Obviously, most visitors to the convention are going to be English and English is the language of business on Earth.

Another thing to consider is that Rainbow's market heavily revolves around Americans because they have a lot of money to spend compared to everyone and that the 4kids dub (the one that everyone wants) is American. Rainbow is obviously going advertise it in English considering that if they don't get America to sign on with them, they're screwed."

i recently got an email from Bloomerica, who shares her opinion:
"I bet its not fake because theyre probably going to edit the movie poster once theyre dont the move, heck who knows maybe they would even change the title............
So 4 now no one can really tell but I bet u Winxclub the MOvie 2 is actually gonna come out :)"

  1. Okay, I'm sorry but what the hell? How is examining one's hair style substantial proof in saying that the movie poster is a fake? Cartoon animation is never drawn uniform.

  2. I'm sorry, but like my posts at the movie-poster, I agree with Catherine E. Bloom's expression doesn't match the style the series used thus far, neither does the expression of Oritel and Mike. Stella's wearing her hairband all of her sudden, however it's mixed with her princess gown from the end of the first movie. She had a totally different hairstyle then; a hairstyle Winx Fans would recognise, so why change that?
But again: Both Catherine E. and I could be wrong, but maybe that's because it hasn't been one the winx club site yet? Wouldn't the Winx Club site post such a poster? Even if it was only on the licening show?
And 'if they don't sign it with america, they are screwed'? Ehm, I think Europe is perfectly caple of depending on their own ^_^'. America is a huge market, but not THE market. I mean, America never signed the license for 'Alfred Jodocus Kwak', a DUTCH series and yet it has been all over the world for about 20 years now. Almost every country has dubbed it, but not the USA.

This is NOT an attack to you, Kikurukina Bal Des'cagel, neither is this a crusade to prove who is right and who is wrong. We are just a bit skeptical, that is all ^_^. And isn't skeptism a good thing? It helps out sorting what is true and what is false ^_^. And if Catherine E. and I turn out to be wrong, what's the damage then? 2 people who have to say: 'Well, guess we were wrong, let's enjoy the movie'. I don't mind saying that :)... that is, IF it's true.

(Catherine E.; I hope you don't mind me using your name; but I too noticed the hairstyles, like I said in the post with the movie poster).

  3. While I browsed online to find more info (actually, on a quest to prove _I_ was wrong ^_^), I found out that the only sites that mention this movie are ALL fan pages. Not a single official site. Most of them are blogs too XD. So, if it was true (again, I was trying to prove I myself was wrong!), wouldn't it be mentioned at least at the international movie database or any other official site?

  7. Winx Fairy Blue,
I don't literally mean that stock market will crash for them if they don't sign on to 4kids but the problem is that if they don't get the contract with 4kids, we don't get 4kids version of the dub on TV in America and I'm very doubtful that they'll show the RAI English version.

  8. Oh, THAT's what you meant XD Sorry; I misunderstood. I thought you meant that if they wouldn't sign a contract, it wouldn't get any money or so. My mistake! I apologize :) But yeah, if the 4kids dub of the movie is wanted, they do need to sign the license :). We have the Rai English, but then in Dutch, so I guess I personally don't have to worry... it's already a question if we get the 4th season, since the 3rd was already slow here (the dvd's are hard to get!)

I'm curious to see if this is true or not. I know it's true that a 2nd movie will come out; I'm just very curious to find out if this is the first real/official announcement or not. We'll see, we'll see. Speculating won't make things happen faster anyway XP

  10. Okay, dude that is not fat! This show promotes a horrible image when it comes to weight! How are fat children supposed to be comfortable in their bodys if they watch a show where all the characters are so skinny?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hellllooooo she is frikan skinny when they do Human shows they dont have skinny girls to do all of there parts.... : (

  12. lol i think that the skinny character thing is just a way to make the show look better they do show a lot of realistic stuff 2 like when roxy didn't want to be a fairy or when tecna didn't want to wear a bathing suit or how alll the relationship problems there has been, and this is random but what version do u like better stell solaria 4kids tv or rai english i like 4kidstv

If you had visited Igino Straffi's website, you would know that "The Magic Is Back!" IS indeed confirmed; the title is not yet definate and my change, but he's already explained why Roxy is not there.

-Because of the overwhelming turnout of people seeing the first Winx movie all over the world, they decided to pitch ideas for a second movie, BEFORE season 4 had even premiered.

And about Tecna's hair, it doesn't matter, there are even a few screen caps from the 4th season that show her with long AND short hair, also, because nothing about this movie's title is definate yet, the movie poster might also be a mere prototype.

And as for the "princessy" demeanor, that is mostly the center of this movie; it's supposed to focus mainly on Bloom adapting to her new life as the princess of Domino/Sparks and rekindling the relationship she never got to have with her biological family. Personally, I'm very much looking forward to learning more about Bloom's past and seeing more of Oritel and Marian. From what I know, it's scheduled (at this moment) to release in Italy in December of 2011.

Hope this clears some things up...
